Kangaroo Island- last day :(

We managed to get onto a 4:30pm ferry today, which meant we had the whole day to enjoy on the island. Unfortunately it was drizzly and freezing. We were hoping to spend the morning on our private beach but we packed up camp quickly before the rain set in. We decided to go back to Kingscote to wander around the shops & have some lunch. We had just enough time to do a big more fishing at American River & I got lucky again! I got a King George Whiting just big enough to keep- which was just as well because the poor thing well and truly swallowed that hook. We gave the fish to a fellow fisherman who hasn't been lucky. We got back to Penneshaw and on the ferry just as the rain started to fall. Farewell to beautiful Kangaroo Island...until our next visit.
